portrait headers & footers on a landscape page (Office 2000 SR-1)

Our new supervisor doesn't want us to use landscape pages with landscape headers & footers as we've done in the past. Is there any easy way to get headers & footers to act as usual if you're required to put them so the page appears vertical.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Depends what you want on the page. You could try the suggestions at

    http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/L...capeSection.htm

Or if what you want is say an Excel Chart displayed landscape on a portrait page, you can (1) copy the chart in Excel (2) paste it into Paint (3) rotate it in Paint (4) copy again and paste into Word.

    Hope some of that helps.
