    screen saver password

I had previously set my screen saver to require a password to deactivate. But now, all I have to do is click on the mouse, and the screen saver disapears. When I go to the control panel, and click on Display/Screen Saver, it still says that password is required.

Why did it stop working the right way? What can I do to make the password be required again?

    Re: screen saver password

Are you sure that the passwork was not changed to "Null" which is the "enter" key. The setting think it is passworded by any movement is the same as a enter key.

Try changingthe password to something else and see if the new password works.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
