XP HOme versus XP Pro (XP Home)

I am currently running Win XP Home but have recently come across a copy of Win XP Pro.

Is there any advantage for a home user to install XP Pro? There are no space problems.

Probably no advantage, unless you need IIS or advanced networking features. As the old saying goes (and I would do well to remember this!) - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

actually, there are a lot of advantages, beginning with real user accounts and permissions.

if you have a copy and don't need it on another system, go for it. i know a lot of guys who are looking for cheap copies of pro because home is so limiting.
