    Format Superscript in Queries and Reports (Office 2K, SR1)

    I need to superscript Circle R (Registered Trademark) in Access Queries and Reports. Has anyone had to tackle this issue in the past? Please respond with suggestions. Thank you. Trina

    I don't think this is possible in queries, and frankly, I don't see why you would need it there - end users shouldn't work with queries directly.

    In reports, you might use the Microsoft RichText control. You'd have to fill and format it entirely in code - a lot of work. On my PC, the RichText control is part of Visual Studio 6; I don't know if it comes standard with Office 2000 or XP.

    To simulate superscript in a label, you can create a second label with the

    I believe Hans is correct - the results of a query is simply a text string with no formatting of any kind. The TM symbol that is used has special characteristics, and is already set to appear as a subscript, but the
