Launch a Macro from an external command

Hi
I have an external application which can run Access automatically following an incident. What I would like to do is dependant on the circumstance from the program, Is there a command that can be used to trigger a macro on opening (e.g circumstance1 = C:datadb1.mdb?Macro1 | circumstance2 = C:datadb1.mdb?Macro2) or would I have to create several databases with an different autoexec macro on each.
I am trying to create a record from the program for each incident
Am i asking the impossible

Thanks

Re: Launch a Macro from an external command

The startup command line option to execute a macro is /x macro . Hope that helps.
