    CountIf and Format (XL97)

    I want to use CountIf to check the number of cells in a column that are formatted yellow. Is that possible? Thanks

    The only way would be by using a user defined function. For an example see This thread.

    You coul sreplace If oCell.Font.ColorIndex = 3 with
    If oCell.Font.ColorIndex = 6


    If you are interested in the Cell color rather than the font color, change it to If oCell.Interior.ColorIndex
