    Little red numbers?

It's probably really obvious to most people BUT..... what do the little red number next to the number of threads or postings represent.
Is it number currenrtly being written?

Unread messages (relative to the last time you visited that Forum) - once you visit the Forum and retur to the Main Index the number will be reset.

    Re: Little red numbers?

Clicking on the back button doesn't refresh my (green) numbers. But if I click on the refresh button it works. I guess this has something to do with my cache. Can I change a setting to have it work as you described?

    Many thanks (as always)

I don't think so - by definition I think your back button is always going to use the cached version.
If you want a shortcut back to a refreshed version of the Main Index from the depths of a thread, click on the <IMG SRC=http://www.wopr.com/w3timages/mindex.gif> icon at the bottom of the page.
