    Custom report prints (ACC97-SR2)

How can you customize a report to look similar, if there are fields with empty values?
    Example:
4 available fields over a graphic, to print via label wizard.
If I set it up for 3 fields, when the 4th field is filled, the graphic is puhed off the screen.
If I set it to 4 fields, the graphic position shrinks and the label is too short.
I've tried the can grow, can shrink and top properties, and they're sitting on top of each other in design view.
Have I exhausted my options in the design view?

I wrote the following, and then read your post again (I find this often saves a lot of embarrassment) and see that exactly what you

I always have trouble configuring those reports when they're in label mode.
I'm guessing there's no kerning or leading type values to tweak...
    Leading is what I need.
Align to the top and shrink the box to fit the size of the type. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

If you want kerning and leading, you're going to have to go to Word. In Access you have to fake it. You do have a gutter between columns, of course.

As for the graphic, I don't quite understand what's happening. If you send it to the back and set the textboxes backgrounds to transparent on top of it, the graphic should show through. and the textboxes shouldn't affect its placement. Am I missing something?
