    Cell Protection (Office 2000)

Is there any way to protect individual cells without writing macros or protecting the entire sheet?

    Re: Cell Protection (Office 2000)

You can select all cells (Ctrl-A) and do Format, Cells, Protection and uncheck the Locked checkbox.

Then select the cells you want to protect and re-set the Locked property. Then when you protect tthe sheet, only the locked cells are protected, the others being available for editing.

If you require anything more sophisticated, then you would need some VBA code.
