problem linking Excel graphs (Windows NT 4.0 French, Office 97 SR-2 French)

When pasting with link an Excel graphic created as a new sheet, the graph is trunckated.
I do not have that problem if I don't paste with a link or if the graph is created on the same sheet as the data.
I do not have that problem if I am on a Windows 98 or Millenium.
    Please help.

If the problem on the NT machine is that the linked chart is too large to fit on the page (which would cause part of it to be truncated), try re-sizing the chart object. If that doesn't work, your NT4 machine may have a problem. I've tried the same thing with Office 97, SR-2, on a win95 PC with no problems, which reinforces your experience with win98 or winME. All this seems to point to the NT machine having either an OS file problem or an Office installation problem.

Yep! I tried resizing the graph and I am missing about 10% of it on the right side no matter what I do. I will take the problem on to the network admin. Not a user problem. Thanks for your help

    Hi JC:
It's a known bug. See XL97: Chart Truncated After Performing Paste Link Operation (Q178181)

Sorry for the bad news, but there is a workaround by using View/Size with Window.

    Thanks Phil,
The workaround will keep be afloat until the upgrade.
