Finding bulleted points

    Hi

I'm writing a macro to find every paragraph with a manually formatted bullet, and apply a style to it.

I can't work out how to find a manually formatted bullet.

Am I missing something?* Any ideas?

    Thanks

Presuming you mean manually formatted with Bullets & Numbering feature, maybe the VBA gurus can come to your aid... the Search function does not provide for it.

That said, if the bulleted paras are the only ones with a hanging indent, you can search for that; if they're the only ones with a hanging by .25 with a .25 left indent, you can search for that; if the bullet character was inserted using insert / symbol, without benefit of bullets and numbering, you can search for that by copying and pasting into the Find what box. Good Luck!

Thanks, Karen. Not pretty, but it'll do.

Sad, but true... it seems like that's what I'm coming up with lately. Ah well... Maybe it's time to really work out that VBA stuff!
