We are attempting to customize a workgroup message in MS Project 2000 by adding fields to it.

In the Customize Workgroup box, the % Complete field states that it can only be updated by the manager. We would like for project team members to be able to update this field when they receive it in Team Status messages. Is there a way to do this?

The % Work Complete field states that it will appear in the Team Assign and Team Status messages, but it does not appear in these messages. This seems to be a bug. Is there a way to make this field appear in these messages?

We developed a workaround by renaming a number field to Percent Complete, adding it to the workgroup message, and sending it in the Team Assign and Team Status message. The project team member was able to edit the Percent Complete field and the Project Manager was able to update the project using this field.

After the project team member accepts a task and the task is moved to Outlook tasks, none of the customized fields appear. Is there a way to make these customized fields appear in Outlook?
