    In your macro, use :
    SetValue
    Item : [Forms]![FormName]![CheckBoxName]
    Expression : False

    You address the name of the checkbox, not the name of the field it's bound to. It's always a good idea to have controls that are NOT named the same as their underlying fields becase Access can get confused by which one you're referring to.
