    Mulitple Attachments in Outlook (97, 98, 2000, 2002)

    Oh boy!

We have a customer sending us 200 or more attachments in several emails (at least 20 attachments per email). Is there an easy way to "extract" all the attachments in a given email in one step. Right now we have to individually click and highlight each one and then drag to the directory we want them. If you have ever done this it will become quickly obvious why we are looking for a way to do all attachments in an email at once.

Yes, the simple thing would have been to have them combine them all into one zip file. That was not done and it is not possible for them to do this at this time.

    TIA

    Richard

get exlife from http://www.ornic.com and set up a rule to save the attachments from that customer.

In Outlook 2000, the File|Save Attachments... command will dump all the attachments into a single folder. (I've never tested with more than 3, but...)

Both of these suggestions worked. Outlook 2000 and 2002 both have the "File | Save Attachments" option. It worked with the many files we had in each email. The programs found at http://www.ornicusa.com will work for Outlook 97 and 98.

Thanks to both replies I received on this.
