    IIS and W2K

I'm running a Dell Laptop with W2K. The laptop belongs to my employer. Installed IIS so I could do a course in ASP. Can't make it run the ASP pages. The laptop is not currently connected to the Network. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can you can view HTML using a valid server path, such as http://localhost/index.html, so we know IIS itself is okay? One thing I think might be necessary is to open the management console, right click the folder in which your ASP application is stored, choose properties, and in the Application section, click Create... (I've only used IIS4/NT4, so your dialogs might differ.)

Thanks for your comments. I believe the problem has to do with my employer's security settings. Anyway, I uninstalled IIS and will try to look for alternatives. Once again, thank you very much!
