    Windows Movie Maker

I am having trouble importing a windows media player file into Window Movie Maker. I can take the same file only as a .wav file and no problems. However as a .wmp file it won't go..any ideas...and yes it is supposed to take .wmp files?
    Thanks John

I'm not sure I understand this right. isn't a .wav file solely a audio type file. I don't think I have seen a .wav file as a video, so if your converting a .wav to a .wmp file then I don't see how the conversion would work anyway. Maybe I'm just not understanding what it is your doing. <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

Probably didnt make it too clear. In Movie Maker you can add "audio" files to the slide show. You are supposed to be able to use audio files from Media Player, however I am unable to get them in there. I get a messagethat the format is not a valid format , I can use the same audio file in .wav format and it works fine, but the .wmp audio files dont
