    Modifying MPD (2000/SR1)

    I have a program which goes into our time tracking system and modifies the Actual Work field in the assignments table.
    When i load project, I see the actual work in the assignment but it is not rolled up to the task or resource. Hitting F9 does not do this.
    I suspect I need a macro to go thru and force the calculations.
    HELP???

    You said <When i load project, I see the actual work in the assignment but it is not rolled up to the task or resource. Hitting F9 does not do this.>

    - Which screen are you using to review the data in MS Project when you indicate it is not rolling up?
    - I assume that you are importing the actual hours worked by resource into MS Project, is this correct?

    - Have you been able to get this to work?
    Regards,

    I am entering the actual work into the assignment table.
    I view it looking at Resources Usage view with the column actual work added
    I got it to work by adding a macro:
    Sub CalcAllWork()
    Dim A As Assignment
    Dim Temp As Long
    For Temp = 1 To ActiveProject.Tasks.Count
    For Each A In ActiveProject.Tasks(Temp).Assignments
    A.ActualWork = A.ActualWork
    Next A
    Next Temp
    End Sub
