Conditional Formatting with Color (Excel 2000)

Currently, I work with a huge worksheet that contains 52,000 records. I need
to color code this sheet based on 3 conditions. I know that I can use
conditional formatting but don't understand how the rules for my particular
project should work. I believe that I'm to use "if" statements.

Here is what I need to do. I have 2 columns that are filled with numbers
(Columns C&E) and also a column with text (Column A) . The rows are from
2-52,591. I need to say the following:

    1. If the numbers in column C match the numbers in column E, highlight that
    entire row yellow.

    2. If the numbers in column C match the numbers in column E AND column A
contains a "c", highlight the row green

    3. If neither of the numbers in column C and column E don't match BUT column A contains
a "c", highlight the row blue

Does this make sense? It seems like it should be easy but I'm not having any
luck. Can anyone help?? PLease feel free to email me at trisha.evert@frontstep.com in regards to this post.

Re: Conditional Formatting with Color (Excel 2000)

I did it by selecting all of the cells that I wanted to have the conditional formatting with cell A1 as the active cell. I then went to Format/Contidional Formatting and entered the formula and formatting that you can see if you go there.
