EXCEL: Charts & Graphs (Office XP)
Can anyone suggest a book that I may purchase to help me better understand the link between spread sheets and charts / graphs? Perhaps charts and graphs are two separate issues. (see how little I know!!) <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>
I have been using excel for some years now and never had a need for charts or graphs until now. So if someone could suggest a book for beginners that will explain how they "link" together, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Re: EXCEL: Charts & Graphs (Office XP)
as a comprehensive guide to Excel (including graphs/charts) I've always found the Que books (e.g. Special Edition Using Excel 9x) to be very helpful.
Graphs and charts are usually used synonymously, so I think it's down to personal preference. Microsoft talks about "charts" - hence you have a Chart sheet but not a Graph sheet - but I think most people in the real world (science, finance, marketing etc.) talk about graphs in general (particularly when you're plotting data using lines), or use a specific terminology (e.g. histogram). Plus of course you have a pie chart but not usually a pie graph (as far as I'm aware).
I think it's just down to convention...
