    Worperfect and VBA

I'm using Wordperfect 9 which has the capability to use their Visual Basic Editor. What I would like to to with this is get certain records from the Microsoft Access database and print them out to WordPerfect 9. My problem is that I don't know the correct syntax to get a connection to the database and get certain records from it. Can anyone help me please?

You need to learn the ADO object model. Samples abound on the net. Here's a short overview:

And here's a good listing of VB specific codes samples:

Give it a shot and let us know how it's going...

    Kevin,

Is ADO applicable to Wordperfect? I've no idea what is available.

Well, this is only an assumption. If Corel expects to keep anybody using WordPerfect (a very good word processor) it better provide a full implementation of VBA. Otherwise, it'a a very limited good word processor.

Our poster will have to verify that the VBA IDE in WordPerfect is robust or busted.

If any Corel representative would like to make their current version of WP available for testing, I'd gladly take a look. The last version of WordPerfect I have is 8, which I believe did NOT have VBA.
