    Autocomplete (XP with SP1)

I think it's great the way Outlook now remembers addresses you've used before, however, what happens when it contains obsolete addresses?

Is there a way to remove these permanently so Outlook doesn't keep suggesting them? This is particularly annoying when the obsolete address is the first on the list (e.g., John A . . .).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.

to clean the whole batch and start over: find and delete the *.nk2 file

to delete one at a time:
when the address is displayed in the little popup window, arrow over it to highlight and hit delete.

    Thanks heaps for your prompt, ever-helpful reply! <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

I love outlook (it's my favorite program after WordPerfect), but I wish its Help files were sometimes better. Is it just me, or do Outlook's (and MSO's) Help Files sometimes omit some REALLY OBVIOUS Help (I checked all the Help Files before I posted).

Probably didn't help that I'm prone to right-clicking in MSO (expecting a Dialog Box) . . . didn't expect that the only way to do it was using the [delete] key! D'oh.

    Anyway, thanks again!!! 8-)
