I saw Microsoft Plus for Windows XP on sale at Comp USA. Is this software worth installing.? Anyone have problems with it?

no problems with it, but i don't use it much. the savers and games need a newish computer with high speed & a good graphics card.
how much is it on sale for? if it's free after rebate or really cheap, get it. otherwise, i'd probably say not to waste your money on it. it's not worth the full price and i'm not sure it's worth more than $10-15, if that. (my copy was free)
They had it marked down from $30 to $17.00. Free or $10 would be better.
Thanks for your comments.

One thing I did like about the Plus! pack was the CD labeler and the add-ins for Media Player. I don't use either on a regular basis but they are handy tools. The games are all demo versions, and the wonderful Aquarium screen saver comes with only three fish. I'd sooner cough up the money for that saver alone than the XP Plus! package - if I used screen savers.
Quite frankly, it's neat to have but you aren't missing anything without it either!

the media player addins are the only thing I use and i'm not sure i actually use them
@ $17, it's low enough that i'd think long and hard about whether i really needed the extras or not. But it 's not worth the MSRP.
To me, the only cool thing on it is Aquarium screen saver. But it has only three fishes and if you want to add fishes (up to 21) you must pay additional $20, sorry, $19.95...
Is even $17 too much for shareware?
Yeah, but the cd labeler program is really quite limited!
Limited....very. But when I use it for a quick and dirty label, how handy it is.... Besides, the office and my friends don't care, they want what's ON the other side of the CD!!
The Roxio label maker is convenient but every bit as limited. I still haven't found a good solution other than downloading the Photoshop templates if you want a nice label with flexibility. But then Photoshop is a lotta money too, just for a labeling system!!

Is there another cd labeler program that someone knows about that is easy to use, functional and better than roxio's or the one that comes with XP Plus?
