Slow response from Server (A2K / SQL 2K)

I have an Access front end talking to a SQL 2000 DB using ODBC. All seems ok for about a day. However, sometime into the second day the server slows down dramatically. Checking the server for resources shows no problems with plenty of CPU and RAM available. When I re-boot the server everything comes back to normal. It seems as if things get slower and slower until the connection times out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Is there any chance that you're leaving connetion or recordset objects open in VBA? I.e. be sure to set all of your ADO/DAO objects equal to nothing at the end of any procedures using ADO/DAO.

    Just a thought... <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

That's a good point. I'll check. One thing that happens here is that the users are logged off at the ed of the day and start fresh in the morning. Doesn't this kill any connections?

However, I could see that 20 people connected at one time, all with multiple connections going on, could cause a problem.

    Thanks,
