    Adobe Acrobat pdf

What is the procedure for incorporating an Adobe Acrobat pdf file in FP2000?

    Re: Adobe Acrobat pdf

Just put in a hyperlink to the document:

    Description

The above would open the document in a new window.

The person viewing it needs to have Acrobat installed - Adobe encourages links to download the free viewer and it is common for sites to have:

The getacro.gif is available from the site (or grab this one)

Is that what you are asking?

One small proviso - I find it to be good practice to tell visitors the difference between viewing on line and downloading for off-line viewing (left click, right click).

OK. I set it up as a hyperlink and it works fine.

Of course, now that I have that I'm not happy with it and want to do it differently. Is there a way to display a thumbnail of a pdf file, similar to a photograph, that would get bigger when a visitor clicked on it?

Sure. You need to export the PDF file as EPS, open the EPS in PhotoShop, resize to a thumbnail of whatever size, 72 dpi and "Save for Web" as a JPEG.

In FP, place the thumbnail and hyperlink to the actual PDF.
