Combination Charts in Excel (Excel 97)

Is there a way to create a chart with clustered, stacked columns? I've attached a drawing of what I'm trying to achieve.

    Thanks.

Microsoft has a KnowledgeBase article on this: Q214119. I have attached a worksheet based on this approach.

Also, if you do a search on this Forum on "stacked chart", you will find several threads dealing with this, for instance those starting with <!post=post 93975,93975>post 93975<!/post> and <!post=post 47726, 47726>post 47726<!/post>. In both threads, you'll find attached worksheets.

Thanks for your help. I found Bernard's instructions a little easier to follow than the Microsoft ones, but I guess that's to be expected.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

Thank you so much for your help. Your instructions were easy to follow and I was able to create the chart that my Boss wanted and he is now a very happy fellow. Hopefully he will be happy enough to think about giving me a pay rise!!??!!

Thanks again, you're a life saver.
