    Document Map (W97, WinNT4)

Does anyone have any experience of using this feature? We've just started looking at it, but it seems a bit buggy.

Also, the only controls I can find for it in VBA are to switch it on/off and to set the percentage width on the screen; does anyone know if it is possible to set it to open at a specific level, eg only showing Heading 1s?

    Many thanks in advance!

The ShowHeading method is meant for Outline view, but influences the outline in the left pane of DocumentMap too. It doesn't influence the right pane (the document), unless that pane is in Outline view

To display Heading 1, 2 and 3 in the outline:
    ActiveWindow.View.ShowHeading 3

    To display everything:
    ActiveWindow.View.ShowAllHeadings

Thank you, Hans - that's not one that had (or would have) occurred to me! Needless to say, it's not documented as far as I can tell, either.
