We have two NT print servers. All of our shared printers are installed on both servers, so that if we have a problem with one server, we can still print by installing the printer from the other server. It also helps us balance the load.

We have a chronic problem of extremely slow printing from the printers on one of the servers. The other server is perfectly fine. Although the options for the printers are the same on the "slow" server as on the "fast" server (same driver, datatype, etc.), some users are reporting that printing from the slow server is so slow that the program appears to be locked up. It appears that the print files are ballooning in size when this happens.

I'm just looking for some troubleshooting clues. Any ideas?
