    JASU: Just Another Spam Utility

There's never enough of these to go around. This concept sounds very interesting. Cloudmark, some name, but the idea is that you report spam and an add-in for Outlook looks at the message, comparing it anonymously to a database created by everyone using the prodcut.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Too bad this doesn't work with other clients as well.

What if someone using Cloudmark deleted a non-Spam email, like a general message from your ISP?

I wondered about that too, but they explain the method well at their site. They never touch your email; the original spam message is recorded anonymously. It's definitely worth a read as I would certainly leave things out if I tried to recap much here. <img src=/S/innocent.gif border=0 alt=innocent width=20 height=20>

There is also a "trust" system, that is, people who report everything as spam don't figure as highly into the algorithm as those who report accurately.
