    system configuration utility (Xp home)

I am trying to get RID of the System Configuration Utility box that keeps on coming up after every boot.
I have already read the MS "Q" file and have made sure that all options are selected in both the start up and services tabs then checked normal start up and apply boxes, then rebooted but STILL it keeps coming back? Any sage words of advice on this one?

When you first boot the system, you'll see the diagnostic message that tells you about the changes that were applied. There should be a check box in that dialog to disable to utility.

    To All:
I found the answer to my own problem.
In the C:windowsprefetch folder, I found a file named: msconfig.exe-35e4dae9.pf. I first renamed it to .old,
then rebooted a few times to try it and when the box mentioned above, didn't reappear, I then deleted it and everything is fine and dandy again! This might be good info if someone else has this crazy nag.
