    Delivery Point barcode

    Help -
    I am trying to put a delivery point barcode in a MAIN document. (Word 2000) I have no problems using them with the envelopes and labels tool but I want one in the main document so we can use our windowed envelopes.
    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Re: Delivery Point barcode

    Use the field code "Barcode".
    Help/index & barcode gives details about it.

    With insertion point where the barcode is to be placed do:
    ctrl + F9
    Type: barcode u xxxxx-xxxx where xxxxx-xxxx is the zip+4 the 4 can be omitted.

    You can also use Insert/Field and select barcode and type u followed by the zip.

    Re: Delivery Point barcode

    Hi,

    For me the syntax that works is:
    { BARCODE "xxxxx-xxxx" /u }.
    I think I get an error code without the quotation marks.

    You could also bookmark your address and use the bookmark. You can include the street address through the zip code inside the bookmark; I believe that this is how the Envelope Wizard does it. You can also just have the last line or just the zip code in it. If you do this, the syntax is:

    { BARCODE bookmark b u }

    For more on fields you may want to check out the links at:
