Error at load of global template (2000)

    Hi all,

I have made a global template with macro's to control the
    prefilling of some templates.

Works fine on about 50 systems.

One (Word 2000, Win2000) however gives this error message when Word starts:

System error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified
    module could not be found.

And After OK, Compile error in module Mainmod..... (which
contains no compile errors, I am positive!!)

I tried disabling NAV, no luck.
Also did a detect and repair, no luck.
Tried opening the global template for editing, but I get
    the same errors.

Does anyone have a clue what I can do to fix this?

Check the Project's REferences to see if any are marked as MISSING.

    This is getting thicker...

    - No missing refs
    - Renamed Normal.dot, no luck
    - Tried small file with a reference to the Microsoft forms2.0 Object lib, works OK on the offending machine
    - Removed Office, reinstalled, no luck.

If I try to run in step mode, the VBE highlights one of the variable declarations (a Public one) with Compile error, Out of Memory. The module contains 546 lines of code, 61 Public variables. Not too much AFAIK.

BUT, this only happens on this ONE system. So I strongly suspect a problem outside of my code.

    Now what??

Is there anything in the user's environment (e.g., other global templates or add-ins) that could create a conflict with your variable declaration? A class name? "Out of memory" is an illogical way to describe that, but...it's the only thing that comes to mind.

Ayup, I just had one of those critters last week.

I forget the details, but there was a conflict by using multiple definitions of some variable or whatever.
