    NT server default gateways

I know you can specify more than one default gateway for a network card in NT Server 4.0, but how do you get the server to use a specific gateway. It says in the help that the priority will be the order they are listed. To me this would mean that if the server could not respond to a client on gateway 1, it should try gateway 2. However this has not been my experience, it just doesn't work.

    Any ideas?????

ok, i got it, but its wierd..

At a DOS prompt, type route print. This will give you your routing table.

Lets say you want this network to go thru this gateway...

    c:/>route add 192.168.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.192
    ^ Network ^Subnet mask ^ gateway

try that, if you put a "-p" after route, it will make the entry permanent.
