    date format

Is there any way to set the date format to default to: 06/26/02 for the whole system? I do not see anything in the Date/Time area within the Control Panel.

You sure can. But you need to look in a different place: Regional Settings contains the format for time, date, currency - and so on.

Stupid? Hey, if I were going to change the date and time format, I'd look in the obvious place....where they were displayed. It just happens that the folks who wrote Windows' source code don't think the way you or I would! (But then that's true of most developers anyway... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)
