    Slow Down (Outlook 2000 SR-1)

Has anyone else's Outlook slowed down since the last go round of Microsoft's security updates? Since installing these latest updates, starting a new email is noticeably slower for me. I have a very fast machine and was just curious if anyone else has these problems. I have installed nothing but these updates in over a month and this slow down just became apparent in the last few days.

    Thanks.

Have you tried deleting your local user profile from your machine ?
BEWARE though if you do you'll delete all desktop settings saved to it, could rename the profile and log back in if you use a user account to log on to the machine ?
We've had numerous situations of this in our work evironment

i would only remove the user profile as an option of last resort (you log on as an admin and delete your normal user).... in most cases, making a new outlook profile does the trick.

Thanks, I think I will leave well enough alone. Everything is working, it just slowed down somewhat. I'll live with it rather than mess up something else.
