    Comment Owner (All (?))

    After one has entered a comment to an EXCEL-cell (either manually or programmatically), the statusbar always displays the name of the EXCEL-user who entered the comment.

    I know that the comment itself does so too, but that's easy to get rid off. What I like is a way to change/edit/remove the status-bar owner.
    I've been there before but wanted to try this again.

    FYI, what I do now is sort of a workaround... from VBA I change the User in EXCEL, then create the comment, then reset the original user. That works fine until the code crashes somewhere in between as that leaves the user-name in error...

    I'd appreciate any clever tricks to change this in a more direct way!

    By the way... <font color=blue>Activecell.Comment.Author</font color=blue> is a read-only property...
