    Delegate Access to Sent Items (2000)

    How can my delegate view my Sent Items folder?
    I turned on the option by adding her to the Permissions tab in the Properties section
    for my Sent Items.
    When she goes to File-Open Other Users Folder, she sees my Inbox.
    How can she see my Sent Items?

    It sounds like you are using Outlook on an exchange server. If this is the case, your delegate will need to view the mail in a different way.

    The first thing you will need to do is give your delegate access to the top folder in your folder tree (for me it is Outlook Today or Mailbox - my name). The delegate will need permissions of at least 'folder visible'.

    Now go the delegates mailbox and go to Tools then Services. This will bring up a list of services, one of which will be Microsoft Exchange Server. Double click on this and go to the Advanced Tab. Click on the Add button and add your name in here. OK out of the all the dialogue boxes and your delegate should have a view of your folders set up in the Folder List.

    Exactly right - thanks for reading between the lines.

    I tried it and the delegate did indeed have my whole Mailbox available to them on their Folder List
    but when it was expanded the only 2 folders that were available were Inbox and Calendar.

    Perhaps this is how our network administrator has it set up?
    I have a call in to him now.

    Yes, delegations seem to me to sometimes have a mind of their own. The best I could suggest would be to re-check the access you gave from the folder properties of the Sent Items. Other than that, if your organisation uses multiple servers, you may need to wait for the servers to replicate, but I would not expect that to be an overly long time.
