Using a calculated number as a row reference (Excel 2002)

How do I use a calculated number as a row reference in another cell?

For instance, let's say that in cell B2 I calculate the value 19. This value 19 represents the row #19, which I want to use in cell C2 to pull in the value of cell A19. It seems I may need to convert the number 19 into the string "19" , within cell C2.

    Try:

=OFFSET(A1,B2-1,0,1,1)

    or

=INDIRECT("A"&B2)
