    Landscape mode (97)

    Landscape mode
    I somehow managed to screw up the orientation of all my reports & now, despite the fact that all the reports show LANDSCAPE under the print preview option, they continually open in PORTRAIT. What

    Did you check the default windows setup on the printer. This may be changing the print status to portrait when you truly want landscape?

    Yes, a new default printer was set on my computer, but in its properties, controls are greyed out & nothing appears to show what the default orientation is.

    Just an idea, if you create a spreadsheet in Excel in landscape mode and send it to the printer, does it print portrait as well. I would check with your IT staff to see if they have locked the printer settings. (Is this a network printer?)

    After you send the excel sheet, and if it prints in landscape, try the other reports again. It might just work..... <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

    Yes, any setup done in landscape will continually print in portrait even if you specify landscape. The test with the excel spreadsheet doesn
