    1.Tables and 2.ODBC

    I have 2 questions.
    1. How can I delete a table with code?
    2. Here is a real toughy. I need to be able to open Outlook so that it will automatically link to an Access Database to retreive an Address Book in a table where I store information. If anyone knows how I can do this from Access this would be an added bonus.

    Thanks in advance

    ODBC between Outlook and Access

Generally speaking you can use VBA to read data out of and write data to an Access table without too much difficulty (assuming proper permissions). However, the question is where to put that data? If you need the Access table to integrate into one or more Outlook contact folders that you allow users to customize, it could be rather tricky. Perhaps you should explain your application here or on the VBA board.

    Re: 1.Tables and 2.ODBC

    1. Delete a table in VBA-code
    DoCmd.DeleteObject acTable, "YourTableName"

    2. Open Outlook and link to an Access database.
Take a look at Helen Feddema's download page:
    http://www.helenfeddema.com/CodeSamples.htm
She has some examples you can download.
