    Jornada 568

I am having a problem with my new Jornada 568. It connects to my PC fine. When I click on the "Explore" button in the MS Active Sync, I get an error [ Failed to start remote services ]
I have re-loaded Active Synce a few times now but the problem still exists. Anyone have any ideas ?
    Thanks

Do you have any FireWall software running?
If so add the settings for the MS Active Sync.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

As a matter of fact, yes I do. Zone Alarm. I have tried to activate (local & internet & server) different programs but I am not sure which one is it. I have allowed the file <wcesmgr.exe> to run.
    Any more ideas ?
    Thanks,

    I have the following entries in my <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> version:
    WCESmgr.exe
    CeAppMgr.exe
    CMDTWIZ.exe
    wcescomm.exe

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Jornada 568

Dave, I think I found the problem. It was Windows Explorer being locked out on Server that did it.
I clicked on allow server and up came the mobile device. I usually don't have that enabled as protections on my internal network. Next step is to see if I can get those DOS programs running now. Thanks for your help.
Maybe all this will help someone else down the road.
