    password protect MS Word

Is it possible to password protect the entire MS Word folder with Windows 98? I can protect each individual file, but this is very time consuming. I was hoping there was a way to protect access to the entire folder. I am not asking about a network situation. Just asking about protecting access on my computer directly from the computer keyboard.

    Re: password protect MS Word

    Hi David
Many encryption programs will do what you ask. The one I use, if you click on a Folder, it encrypts every file inside it without further action, though you can then open the folder and see the file list.
I would suggest you pop over to my website and click the button labelled 'Encryption'

    Click My Sig

I'd suggest Magic Folders for the job. There is no native function win Windows 98 that will do it for you. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>
