Outlook 97 help SR-2

I have installed Office 97 in my win2k computer, everything works great in my account, which is admin, but not so in my wifes account, when she is logged on and tries to open outlook she gets some error that says something like the program is not registered, please run setup again, you do not have authorization to make any modifications, how do I fix that so she can use outlook?

Change her account to Admin and then start Outlook.
If she is NOT in the admin group what group is she in?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Thanks, I put her in the power users group and it works just fine, I just wanted to leave her in the basic users group, you know how some women are, they could hose up a computer just looking at it

Boy are you in troubled around here. There are MORE great female users that you will want to count.
I have had a LOT of problems with the MEN and their know it all. I fix more computers for them (males) than I do for females.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

i hope that was meant to be a joke... I have to fix as many men's computers as i do women's... and we're about 60% female employees.

It's not the sex of the user, but their skill level and what i call 'he-man' attitude, where the user, most often male, thinks he's superiour and knows what he's doing and really doesn't know much of anything. A few women do it too, but most women play dumb and ask the obvious... i think they feel intimated and need to get approval before doing anything... especially since they usually just call to confirm they are doing it right. (A couple of the women do it as an excuse to talk with the guys and they are disappointed when i answer the call. )

Now here's an intelligent response from a female. Can't you set up Outlook using profiles and set up separate pst's/ost's for each user? That's how I have it on my machine using three different profiles to the same machine.
