    Formatting Numbers (Access 97)

    Is there a way to format a number to have leading zeros.
    Example: 7 --> 007, 12 --> 012.
    I will use this formatted number to concatenate with another number field in a form.
    This number may be converted into "text" if it is necessary

    Thanks in Advance

    If you just want to display a field with leading zeroes, set the Format property to "000" (without the quotes).
    For concatening with something else, use Format([Fieldname], "000")
