    Keep losing toolbars (2000 SR-1)

I have a user that creates a customized toolbar and it keeps disappearing. Is the .pip file getting corrupt or is our server doing something to change it. We are on Windows 2000. I am going to have him copy the .pip file and save it somewhere else this time and then if it is not there delete the old and replace it with that file. I don't know if this will work. Just testing it. This has happened about 5 times now. I have read where .pip files get corrupt. Are they unstable? Bugs in the program? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Custom toolbars are kept in the user's .xlb file (usually username.xlb or Excel8.xlb, but name and location can vary). If you are in a corporate network environment, then it is possible that the IT folks have things set up to replace the .xlb file with some default on some schedule. You would have to check with them to see what they are doing.
