    ChoiceMail - A New Anti-Spam Utility

ChoiceMail is an interesting concept - but as I'm not really plagued with Spam, it's hard to know for sure. Worth a look see though, for the Non-Mailwasher crowd anyway. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

Another alternative to MailWasher is AvirMail. I had problems with MailWasher, but so far AvirMail seems to be OK.

Ken. do you mind sharing with us specifically what problems you had with Mailwasher. You could go to the current thread, right near this one, and make a post there if you would be so kind.

Good find, Mark, for those who may want to do it, but WOW! Putting the burden on the SENDERS is kinda rude in my opinion. I hate to have to have the hundreds of people who send me email (friends and family) "register" in order to send me a note. My two sisters would probably never write to me again <grin> (I hate Smilies, as you can tell)

I don't know if the senders would encounter this "permission form" or not. I haven't tried the utility, but it would be good if you could import email addresses. And, it just may be a blessing if some people quit corresponding, no? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

I thought the same thing when I first looked at it... but reading the stuff on the site it looks like you can make up a pre-accepted list. I usually don't get a lot of spam... but for some reason I'm starting to... grrrrr....
    have fun
