    Forms (A2K SR1)

I have a form to extend a guest's stay in an extended stay facility. The operator is prompted to enter the room number and the latest rental record is displayed for that room. There is new record button which creates a new record and fills in some data from the last record.

I do not want the operator to be able to click the next record button at the bottom of the form (the built in access - previous record, next record etc). Is there a way to hide the next record function?

Set the form's Navigation Buttons property to "No" (Format tab on Form Property Sheet). Note this will hide all the built-in navigation buttons, not just Next Record. If you want some of the others to be available you will have to create custom buttons to duplicate their functionality.

Another options is to set the form's "allow additions" property to "no".
This will leave the navigations buttons there but stop the user creating a new record. In the code for your new record button, you would have to set the 'allow additions' property back to "Yes", then when the record is created, set it back to "no" again.
