    PPT 2002 on Win 98 Machine (2002)

I have a presentation that I want to show on a Win98 machine, in fact what I would like to do is share the presentation with other people, and I'm not sure what versions of windows they may have. I thought that if I saved it as a Web page, that I would be able to view it on any machine with IE 4.0 or above, as it says on the "Save as Web Page" box but when I took my CD to 2 other machines, both running Win 98 and IE 5.0, it wouldn't run, in fact, they didn't even show any files on the CD and I know that they are there. I did try running the presentation on some other machines in the office that also have PP 2002 and it ran fine. Is it possible to show a presentation on a lower version machine? Help! Thanks.

I use PPT 2000, and when it saves as a web page, there is a huge nest of files in a folder next to the main HTML page. Not sure how 2002 does it.

For a more "native" appearance, though, how about the downloadable PowerPoint viewer?
