The 'OPEN' dialog box (Office 2000)

While inside any of the Office Programs, if you choose to "Open" or "Save As" or "Insert", a dialog box
comes up listing the folders/files etc. On the left-hand side of this dialog box are the usual "Folders"
"HISTORY" "MY DOCUMENTS" "DESKTOP" "FAVORITES" etc.
Is there a way to modify or add to the shown folders ?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Try this thread - although I am not sure of the availability of Places Bar any more.

Found the exact thing you're talking about - it takes a little bit of work in the registry but it is definitely worth it - go to www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article08-804.
