I don't know if this will help you. If not, post back and explain in more detail what you want, or attach a smell example.

Suppose you have a sheet named Sheet1:

    <table border=1><td></td><td>A</td><td>B</td><td>1</td><td>Field</td><td>Number</td><td>2</td><td>Aaa</td><td>P37</td><td>3</td><td>Bbb</td><td></td><td>4</td><td>Ccc</td><td>Q12</td></table>

You want to know if there is a part number for "Bbb".
In a cell on another sheet, this formula will tell you:

    =ISBLANK(VLOOKUP("Bbb",Sheet1!A2:B4,2,FALSE))

Of course, you can replace "Bbb" by a cell reference.

    Hans,

What did you use to display that worksheet piece?

    Aladin,

The "worksheet piece" is a HTML table created using the <IMG SRC=http://www.wopr.com/w3timages/table.gif> button on the 1-Click TagPanel.

    Regards,
    Hans
