Our remote users in Bermuda and London with Windows 2000 and Outlook 2002 are accessing Exchange 5.5 in NJ. Outlook puts a message on the taskbar that it is retrieving mail and hangs the user for 1 - 2 minutes up to 5X a day. This is creating an intolerable work situation. (Users with Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 in our remote locations are NOT having this problem.)

I have looked at Knowledge Base articles Q301117 (Windows 2000 hotfix didn't work) and Q320843 (Outlook Connectivity). I support Office products but am not well versed in Exchange. Does anyone have an answer/solution/information regarding this problem?

We want to deploy XP to all of our remote locations domestically and internationally but need to resolve this issue first.
